茶道裏千家淡交会シアトル協会による毎年恒例の初釜の式が１月31日にマーサーアイランドコ ミュニティー・イベントセンターで開かれた。会員、家族、コミュニティー関係者が多数出席、食 事の後に会員によるお茶の手前が披露された。
