Urasenke Tankokai Seattle Association held its annual Hatsugama, New Year’s tea ceremony, on Jan. 31 at the Mercer Island Community & Event Center. Dozens of members and community representatives joined the annual event to experience a tea ceremony served by tankokai members

茶道裏千家淡交会シアトル協会による毎年恒例の初釜の式が1月31日にマーサーアイランドコ ミュニティー・イベントセンターで開かれた。会員、家族、コミュニティー関係者が多数出席、食 事の後に会員によるお茶の手前が披露された。
