Tacoma Japanese Methodist Church

 The Tacoma Japanese Methodist Church building at 1901 S. Fawcett Ave. was built in 1929. The church was renamed the Whitney Memorial United Methodist Church in the 1960s and continued until December 1999 when it closed and joined with the Puyallup United Methodist Church. The University of Washington (Tacoma) currently owns the building.
