Hashidate Baths

The modest doorway at 302 6th Avenue South on the side of the Panama Hotel building shown above leads downstairs to the Hashidate Baths, the last surviving intact Japanese style public bath house in the United States. It has been preserved through the efforts of the Hori family and Jan Johnson, current owner of the Panama Hotel.
