INS Building

 The INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) building at 815 Airport Way South was opened in 1932. Officially known as the United States Immigrant Station and Assay Office, this facility processed many Japanese and Chinese immigrants. Issei and Nisei who were arrested after December 7, 1941 were also held here.
