Seattle University Hosts International Student Event

The Seattle University International Student Office held an international dinner on Jan. 30 gathering about 350 students, university staff and representatives. The event featured various meals and performances from different countries such as yakisoba and kinako mochi from the Japan booth. Local performance groups included the School of Taiko.

シアトル大学留学生センターが開くインターナショナルディナーが1月30日、シアトル大学で行 われ、生徒や大学関係者約350名が参加、世界各国の料理とパフォーマンスを楽しんだ。日本のブー スからは焼きそばときなこもちが振舞われ、日本人留学生からは笑顔が溢れた。また世界各国の伝 統芸能を披露され、日系団体からは太鼓の学校が出演。異国文化の魅力が凝縮されたイベントに、生徒達は終始大盛り上がりだった。
