Keiro Northwest Celebrates Summer

Keiro Northwest held its annual Summer Festival last Friday at Seattle Keiro featuring food, Bon Odori and taiko performances for facility residents and their family and friends. Consul General Masahiro Omura joined the event and enjoyed sharing time with the residents.

福祉団体「敬老ノースウエスト」が8日、恒例の夏祭りを開催。たこ焼き、そうめん、かき氷など日本 食屋台が置かれ、地元団体による盆踊りや太鼓の演奏も披露された。大村昌弘総領事も駆けつけ、入居者 とのひと時を楽しむ様子も見られた。同団体は12日にカレー昼食会も催している。
